Functional Health Coaching That Starts With Assessment
Most women are playing health roulette. They change diets. They try supplements. They push through exhaustion. But nothing works because nobody ever tested what's really going on, or took time to actually listen to what their body has been asking for.
I'm Amy Mewborn, a certified Integrative Health Practitioner. I work with high-achieving women in Las Vegas and internationally via telehealth to find and fix the actual reason you feel depleted, inflamed, hormonally off, and stuck.
This isn't another generic wellness program. This starts with a conversation about your body. From there, we figure out next steps.
[BOOK YOUR ASSESSMENT]
Are you sick and tired of feeling so sick and tired? I get it!!
I know TOO MANY women just like me:
- Perimenopausal/Menopausal
- Struggling to lose weight
- Struggling with insomnia or broken sleep
- Struggling with poor energy
- Struggling with bloating and perpetual puffiness
- Tired of eating salad and working their tails off – but still not getting results.
- And the worst of all - being diagnosed with autoimmune diseases despite doing "everything right"

In 2023, I spent most of the year so sick I couldn’t attend barre or pilates class – one of my favorite things to do! I saw eight doctors. I was radiated 20 times, only to go to a holistic practitioner who ran more comprehensive tests and learn I had mold toxicity!
Then in 2024, after falling down the stairs, I spent my 48th birthday week in the ICU in Nashville with a blood pressure of 268/186 - and was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Unfortunately, autoimmune diseases are on the rise, with one recent study suggesting that as many as 24 to 50 million Americans might be affected by autoimmune disorders (about 7% to 15% of the population).
Test – Don’t Guess!!!
Rather than continuing program after program that doesn’t work – let’s test what’s really going on in your body and how to fix it!
WHY AMY
I've had a passion for health and wellness most of my adult life. In 2005, I earned my first fitness certification and became a certified comprehensive Pilates instructor. In 2010, I left a six figure finance career to open two fitness studios in San Diego.
Since then, I've consulted with women building health and fitness businesses all over the country. But while I was helping other people build healthy businesses, my own health was falling apart.
I spent most of 2023 too sick to even teach the barre and Pilates classes I loved. I saw eight different doctors. I was radiated twenty times. Nobody could tell me what was wrong. After spending over two thousand dollars on testing and another thousand on a single consultation, I finally got an answer. I had mold toxicity. Not one doctor in my entire healthcare network would have caught it.
That experience changed the direction of my life. I went back to school and became a certified Integrative Health Practitioner, Level 1 and Level 2. This training lets me work directly and deeply with my clients to find the actual root cause of why they aren't feeling their best, instead of chasing symptoms one at a time and never getting ahead of them.
I know what it feels like to be exhausted, dismissed, and out of answers. That's exactly why I built this kind of functional health coaching. You deserve someone who digs until you get real answers, not someone who hands you another supplement and sends you on your way.
Today I work with women in Las Vegas and through telehealth all over the world, helping them find the root cause of what's draining their energy and health, so they can finally feel like themselves again.
Join The Collective
Your Health Review or Lab Review gives you personal clarity. The Collective is where you actually get the support to do something with your health.
Because here's the truth. Knowing what's wrong with your body isn't the hard part. Most women already have a hunch. The hard part is building a life that actually supports healing, week after week, when nobody is checking in and nobody is holding you accountable.
That's what the Collective is for.
YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER PROTOCOL SITTING IN YOUR INBOX
You've probably had this happen before. You get a plan. You're excited for two weeks. Then life happens, the plan gets buried, and you're right back where you started.
The Collective was built to fix that exact problem.
This isn't a PDF you download and forget. It's ongoing coaching, a real community, and daily tools that keep you moving forward long after your assessment ends.
WHAT'S INCLUDED WHEN YOU JOIN
The Living Simpler App
Your daily companion for tracking the habits that actually move the needle. Nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and mindset, all in one place, built specifically around hormone health, energy, and healing.
Ongoing Group Coaching
Regular access to coaching that keeps you accountable and answers the questions that come up between sessions. Healing isn't linear. You need somewhere to bring the hard weeks, not just the easy ones.
A Real Community
Women who understand exactly what you're going through, because they're going through it too. No judgment. No explaining yourself. Just women who get it, cheering each other on.
Topic Specific Mini Courses
Concerned about hormone health, detox, nervous system regulation, sleep, or the daily habits that actually create lasting change - you'll find it all in The Collective
Direct Access to Me
You're not left to figure this out alone. I'm in the Collective, showing up for you consistently, not just handing you information and disappearing.
WHY THIS WORKS WHEN OTHER PROGRAMS HAVEN'T
Most wellness programs give you information and walk away. The Collective gives you information and stays.
You get the accountability of a coach, the support of a community, and the daily structure of an app, all working together so healing doesn't depend on your willpower alone.
This is the difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a functional health coach?
A functional health coach helps you find the root cause of symptoms like fatigue, weight resistance, hormone imbalance, inflammation, and autoimmune flares, instead of just managing them one at a time. Rather than treating each symptom separately, a functional health coach looks at your whole body as a connected system, including your nutrition, sleep, stress response, gut health, and hormones, to understand why you feel the way you do and what your body actually needs to heal.
What is the difference between a functional health coach and a doctor?
A functional health coach is not a medical doctor and does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe medication. I'm a certified Integrative Health Practitioner who works alongside your medical care, not in place of it. Many of my clients work with both a physician and a health coach at the same time. Doctors are essential for diagnosis and medical treatment. Functional health coaching focuses on the lifestyle, nutrition, and root cause piece that often gets left out of a standard medical appointment.
What is the difference between the Health Review and the Lab Review?
The Health Review is a 60 minute consultation focused entirely on your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle. No lab testing is required. The Lab Review is a 75 minute consultation focused on interpreting existing lab work, or ordering new functional labs and reviewing the results together. If you're not sure which one fits, start with the Health Review. We can always move into a Lab Review once you have testing done.
Do I need lab testing before I book?
No. You can start with a Health Review for $149 with no testing at all. During that consultation, we'll talk through whether functional lab testing makes sense for your situation. If it does, we can order it together and schedule a Lab Review once your results are back.
What labs do you use in a Lab Review?
Depending on your history and symptoms, we may look at testing such as an Organic Acids Test, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, comprehensive stool analysis, advanced hormone panels, or environmental toxin screening. If you've already had any of this testing done recently, bring those results to your Lab Review and we'll interpret them together.
How much does functional health coaching cost?
A Health Review is $149. A Lab Review is $399. Both are one time consultations designed to give you clarity and a clear next step. After your assessment, we'll talk about whether ongoing coaching or a personalized protocol makes sense for you, and what that investment would look like.
Can I do a functional health assessment if I don't live in Las Vegas?
Yes. Every consultation happens through a secure video call, so location never matters. I work with women across the United States and internationally through telehealth. Wherever you are, we can meet.
Are you in Las Vegas?
Yes. I'm based in Las Vegas and work with local clients in person availability alongside my telehealth practice, so you can choose whichever format fits your life best.
Do you work with autoimmune disease?
Yes. I work with women who have autoimmune diagnoses to help support the body's natural healing pathways through nutrition, stress reduction, sleep, and lifestyle changes. I do not treat, diagnose, or promise to reverse autoimmune conditions. That work belongs to your medical team. My role is helping you understand what your body needs and build a life that supports healing alongside the care you're already receiving.
Can you help with hormone imbalances and perimenopause?
Yes. Hormone health is one of the most common reasons women come to me. Whether you're dealing with perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, thyroid symptoms, or general hormone imbalance, we look at what's actually driving those symptoms instead of just naming them.
Can you help with weight loss?
Yes, though not through restriction or another diet. Weight resistance is usually a symptom of something deeper, like blood sugar imbalance, inflammation, hormone disruption, or a nervous system stuck in stress mode. We work on the root cause, which is what actually allows sustainable weight loss to happen.
What happens after my Health Review or Lab Review?
We talk through what makes sense as your next step. For some women that's ongoing coaching. For others it's a personalized protocol, additional testing, or coordinating with a doctor or specialist you're already seeing. There's no set path. Your next step is based on what your body actually needs.
How long does it take to see results?
Every body responds differently, and it depends on what we uncover. Some women notice shifts in energy or sleep within a few weeks. Deeper changes involving hormones, autoimmune symptoms, or long standing inflammation usually take longer and involve consistent support over time. This work is about lasting change, not a quick fix.
Is this covered by insurance?
Functional health coaching is not typically covered by insurance, since it's coaching and education based rather than medical treatment. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds. Check with your provider to see what your plan allows.
What if I've already tried everything and nothing has worked?
That's actually who this is built for. If you've done the diets, the supplements, the programs, and you're still exhausted, inflamed, or stuck, the missing piece is usually that nobody has actually tested what's happening in your body or connected the dots between your symptoms. That's the work we do together.
How do I know if you're the right fit for me?
That's exactly what your assessment is for. We both need to feel like this is a good match. If you leave feeling heard and clear on what to do next, we'll talk about continuing to work together. If it's not the right fit, that's completely okay. You deserve to work with someone who feels right for you.
How do I book?
You can book a Health Review or a Lab Review directly from this page using the buttons above. Choose whichever one fits where you are right now.
